MUSIC OPPORTUNITIES
CHOIR
The adult choirs rehearse together on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:15 pm. Joyful Noise sings at the 8:30 service
on Sunday mornings and Chancel Choir sings at the 11:00 service. Adults and youth 8th grade and up are welcome.
Rising Son is our youth choir, open to middle school and high school youth. They practice on Wednesdays from 6:00-
6:45 pm and sing approximately once a month in both services.
Discovery Choir is for children 3rd – 5th grade and rehearses from 5:30-6:00 pm during the Sunday Night Live
schedule. They sing once a month in both services.
Joyful Sound is for children 1st – 2nd grade and rehearses from 5:30-6:00 pm during the Sunday Night Live schedule.
They sing in services approximately once per quarter.
Cherub Choir targets preschool and kindergarten children, and their rehearsal time is from 5:30-6:00 pm during the
Sunday Night Live schedule.
HANDBELLS
Soli Deo Gloria is the youth handbell choir, for 6th – 12th grade youth. They practice from 5:00-6:00 pm
during the Sunday Night Live schedule, and ring in both services on the 2nd Sunday of each month.
Bells of St. Stephens (B.O.S.S.) is an adult handbell choir that meets during the Sunday Night Live schedule from 6:30-
7:30 pm, and plays in both services on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
Herald Ringers is an adult handbell choir that rehearses on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 pm. They ring in both
services on the 4th Sunday of the month.
INSTRUMENTALISTS
We are always looking for more instrumentalists to augment the music presented at St. Stephen’s. Please contact the
Director of Music for opportunities to play.
